Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Blood Mobile enables the blood bank to visit more sites throughout the community to ensure much needed blood supplies are available locally.

Memorial Health System is pleased to announce the 2010 Medical Staff Officers and Department Chairs for Marietta Memorial Hospital and Selby General Hospital.

Go Red For Women Heart Luncheon to be held at the Marietta Country Club
Marietta Memorial Hospital will once again be sponsoring the annual Go Red For Women Heart Luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The cost of the luncheon is $10, which includes lunch and valuable heart health information and resources.

Marietta Students Give Monetary Donation to Strecker
Marietta Middle School students will be making a check presentation to Dea Smith, administrative director of the Strecker Cancer Center, on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 12:15 p.m. in the mini gymnasium.  The students decided to collect all of their extra change during the holidays so they could give back to a local organization.

Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund Pizza Night

Cici’s Pizza in Marietta will be teaming up with the Memorial Health System Volunteer Program to raise money for their Teddy Bear Fund. On January 6, 2010, 10% of the proceeds between 5 - 9 p.m. will be donated to the Fund.

January Blood Mobile Schedule

Marietta Memorial Hospital is celebrating National Blood Donation Month during the month of January. 

The Blood Mobile will be at the following locations in January for blood donors to give the gift of life:

Selby Expands Outpatient Services. Continuum of Care Options now at SGH and MMH.
Along with the recent installation of the 1.5T MRI system, Selby General will also be adding a PET/CT scanner to its list of growing patient services.
