Marietta Memorial's Blood Bank is one of only two hospital-based blood banks in Ohio.  80 - 90% of the blood products used are drawn locally, which makes a tremendous advantage advantage to physicians and patients in terms of availability, quality and cost.

Additional Information
Our 34-foot Blood Donor Mobile unit has enabled the blood bank to visit more sites throughout our community to ensure much-needed blood supplies are available locally. The vehicle is equipped with four donor beds, an area where staff can take donor health histories and storage space for post-donation snacks and beverages.
