The Need

Help us meet our community blood needs: Marietta Memorial Hospital has a current need for all blood types and a special need for types B-positive, B-negative, A-positive and 0-negative.   If you are able to give blood, older than age 17, and weigh more than 110 pounds, you can help your community - your family and friends - by donating blood. While no patient is currently in danger of not receiving blood, inventory levels are dropping and we need to ensure a continual supply to meet our patient's needs.

The need for blood is ongoing and consistently growing. Every day blood and platelets are needed for patients with cancer, leukemia, trauma and surgery. We want to ensure that our patients have the blood supplies necessary for their health. You can make that possible. You can donate blood once every 56 days.

Giving blood saves lives, and it's easy. Just call Marietta Memorial's Blood Bank at (740) 374-1432.
